You see, this campus brother of mine woke me up. Please note that the ring tone I assigned for his number is VERY alarming. Go and listen to it if you want: Jizz in My Pants, by The Lonely Island. Even better, watch the video.
So he invited me to accompany him for a little hang out because he was kind of stressed out. Venue? Sunway Pyramid. At first, Mary O wanted to join us until she fell asleep and in her mamai-ness, she muttered that she wanted to sleep and she giggled, to my surprise.
I went down and got into his car and we made our way to Sunway. It's a Saturday, so Sunway was somewhat packed it became pretty close to a pasar malam. He took me to Sakae Sushi, and ordered a few plates of tempura, sliced beef, unagi tofu etc. Bloodyhoney, being bloodyhoney, never failed to get smoked salmon sushi and fried (hotate) scallops.
While eating, he discussed various ideas to do for the day; e.g. movies (he felt like watching The Lovely Bones), a day in Sunway Lagoon dry park, or just walk around. I was clueless, and I left the decision-making to him. After lunch, we went to TGV and did not watch the movie because the next screening was at 6pm. We didn't go to Sunway Lagoon too, since he had something up later.
Walking past Cupcake Chic, we were tempted. I forgot what cupcake he bought but I picked this chocolate cupcake with two little marshmallows on top, and its name was On Cloud Nine :)) The name very much complements the cupcake itself! While we were eating on the mall bench, a little toddler was crying as her father held her tiny hand. She saw the cupcake in my hands and drew closer with a smile on her face!
Despite her parents grinning and muttering "Eii, tak malu...tak malu..." to her, she came closer and I offered her a bite. She carefully sank her teeth into the chocolate cupcake, smiling at the taste she just had. She walked off sheepishly and cried no more.
"Her parents should have just stopped by at the Cupcake Chic and buy her one cupcake," Zuan added. "Look at her; so fearless. She'd make a great PR."
