Invasion of Boybands

I know, I know...boy bands are no longer the 'it' thing. But even though I have moved on to be a fan of other musical streams like Trance, Techno, Hip-hop etc., I am still a fan of boy bands.

They are like bad habits that just won't disappear. It's like an old itch coming back.

I had just watched Taking 5, an indie movie starring my delectable eye-candies, The Click Five. It wasn't a stupid movie, despite so much drama going on in there with teen girls and high school popularity shit. The rest of the band acted well. I misjudged Joey Zehr's acting, he was not so bad. Eric Dill was amazing, pun intended. He can do a side career if he wants! *winks* Ben Romans and Ethan Mentzer were equally awesome. I love it when Ben speaks Italian! LOL...and Joe Guese being a Russian? It's just funny. I love the movie! Worth the wait, though.

The plot was not plain and it was different from my usual expectations. I have this habit of guessing a plot of any drama or movie that I watched. Especially with teen movies and Malay soap operas; which occasionally have quite similar story lines that they scoop from foreign ones.

Watching Taking 5 made me realized how much I missed Eric Dill as the original piece of The Click Five. I wish he didn't leave the band. But Kyle Patrick is a well replacement for the vacant spot. Eric has this voice that woos teen girls. Kyle's is mush deeper and more substance. But to be honest, I wouldn't want Kyle to sing my favourite TC5 song that was originally sung by Eric. 'Say Goodnight' would sound terrible if Kyle did. Really. I would burst into tears if he did; not because of the emotion I would feel in the song. It would probably because Kyle's voice was way too deep for it I would be thinking I was listening to Ville Vallo.
