Why it caught my attention?
Yes. Amin. He was the reason why I was concern and worried as I heard the news. He's my friend and I know he lives in Bukit Antarabangsa; which is not so far from Ampang.
I finished my Subuh prayer and was looking forward to take a nap while my mother instructed my brother to buy 10 roti canai for breakfast, and she switched on the TV. I was trying to sleep, in the meantime struggling to push my little sister's legs off my face.
The news suddenly caught my attention. I was like, "Bukit Antarabangsa?" After a few seconds I remembered why. "Alamak! Amin tinggal kat sana!" I took my cell phone and texted him, asking if he was okay. Around 8a.m. , he replied saying that he and his family were fine. His house wasn't far from the actual disaster area and he mentioned that he and his family were moving out for a while until things are back to normal.
Take care, people. Take care, Amin ;)
