My mother planned to take me & my siblings for a break at this new theme park very close to home- The Lost World of Tambun. It's in Perak. It looked great; I should already know since I've learnt way too much about the world of advertising. We went there and reached pretty late. Around 2pm. It was going to close at 6 pm and Mom didn't think it was worth so much money to actually spend just a few hours. So, we returned to my aunt's house in Ipoh, and unexpectedly spent the night there.
I did not feel so comfortable due to the fact that all I brought along was my swimwear -_-"
I shrugged it off and make do with what I had. The night during dinner, my uncle was talking about why his children don't favour going to the theme park anymore. It was the lices.
Apparently, the ugly truth is that the theme park uses filtered water. Just filtered river water. Not added with chlorine at all. So you can imagine how carefree the lices are when they swim in the water and landed on other people, and worse - start breeding! (EW.) My uncle and his family had to use plenty of anti-lice shampoo and treat the rashes on their skin.
My mother decided to go to Bukit Merah instead. Haha. Not sure, probably tomorrow.
