I wonder what is the 'magnet' that sardines have today until a swarm of mosquitoes flew towards it after my mother was done with the cooking. My mother got so freaked out but thank goodness she didn't let go of the wok. LOL.
Like, seriously. Whatthehell? Is there a scientific explanation? Can anyone enlighten me? It was hilarious.
As for today, I woke up late and received a message from Josie. She said she would be performing for Christmas Eve at Taiping Sentral. At 3pm. I arrived 3.30pm. Every one of my friends in Taiping is very used to me-being-late-for-a-gathering situation. I just stood in the crowd and watched her sing with her group of friends while my mother went around to look for shoes.
The performance was done at 4pm. I did get to chat with Josie's dad. I was surprised he remembered me. "You were there when we were sending her off for PLKN," he told me. I nodded and told him I was around for my college break and was there to just watch Josie. Another man next to him told me that I could go onstage and do a little singing. For goodness sake, I am NEVER good at that. LOL.
Josie met me for a while. She refused to take a picture with me. As I am typing this, she might be still singing or maybe she is done with it. She told me that tonight she is going to sing at Legend Inn.
I left the stage area and went looking for my mother. I did a few silly snaps, that my mother categorized as "buat malu je..." LOL.
I will get that daily planner. Damn, I will.
